Dr. Joseph Bouserhal is Adjunct Clinical professor at Boston University, Professor at Saint-Joseph University and Visiting Professor at Beirut Arab University. Additionally, he maintains a private orthodontic practice in Beirut. He was former Head and Program Director of the department of Orthodontics at Saint-Joseph University from 1995 till 2010.
He was former President of the Lebanese and Arab Orthodontic Societies. Actually, he is a Member of the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists, a Member of the Angle Society of Orthodontists, East Component and a Member of the Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Education and Research.
He earned a Doctor in Dental Surgery Degree from Saint-Joseph University, a Master Degree in Orthodontics from the Catholic University of Louvain, a PhD Degree from the University of Liège, a Continuing Education Diploma in Orthodontics from the University of Southern-California, a Diploma of Specialist in Lingual Orthodontics from the University of Paris VII, a Diploma in 3D Imaging and a Diploma in Dental Clinical Research from the University of Toulouse.
Dr. Bouserhal was Visiting Professor at different Universities, has lectured and given courses extensively in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. He published articles in local and international journals and conducted many research projects. His main interests are Esthetics in Orthodontics, Vertical Dimension Control, Treatment of Asymmetries, Adult Orthodontics, Transverse Dimension, Mini-implants and 3D Imaging.
